Believe.
Faith > Fear
Do you remember the last time you visited a memory that scares you? It could be anything, a conversation with someone, an incident that took place, a place you walked into, anything that you associate with a scary, petrifying experience?
I remember, like a lot of us do.
Each one of us has been through experiences, both good and bad. Everything affects us whether or not we want it to. But to what extent we let it affect us is something we have control over.
‘You are what you believe.’
‘What you give is what you get.’
These phrases seem overrated and overused, but they’re actually very true. When you’re low, when you feel like you don’t have the energy to push through a situation, you take time for yourself, of course you do and you should. But when that’s done, when you’re finally ready to come back from what put you down, you have to be positive and you have to be hopeful. And if you’re reading this, I know that each one of you can do that.
I’m guessing you’ve all been through something which got to you, even if it feels very petty right now, at the time, it was big. Whether it was not fitting in, losing someone or something you loved, getting rejected, or any type of pain that I might not know about, you’ve been there, but eventually, you picked yourself up.
You might not have realised it then, but in the midst of everything, you were there for yourself, even if it took a while. You were hopeful and you believed in yourself.
You might not have realised it then, but in the midst of everything, you were there for yourself, even if it took a while. You were hopeful and you believed in yourself.
You have to continue to do that. Believe; believe that you are strong, believe that you can walk out of a bad situation stronger than you used to be, believe that the decisions you make are right for you and believe that you will be okay, because if you believe, you can get through the worst times.
You never gave up on yourself, no matter how much you wanted to, something stopped you. That glimmer of hope is what you need to hold onto every single day.
The prime purpose of this blog is to make sure that you know that you are loved and that you are never alone. So always remember that. Regardless of what you have done and what has been done to you, everyone is worth knowing and understanding, and this is to remind you that YOU ARE WORTH IT. You deserve to be happy, loved, excited and feel all emotions without being judged for it.
This is for anyone who needed to be reminded that they can pull through tough times and live a good life. You are not alone, and there are a lot of people in this world who will understand you and your struggles.
You are worth knowing; love yourself.
